Phoenix Rocks

We are getting the best of the journalism world. I am still in awe with this opportunity to study at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The presenters have been nothing short of superb. Their patience with a techno-infant like me is greatly appreciated. The work load is such that it is do-able, but pushes me outside my comfort zone. I know that when I leave on Friday, I will be sad to leave my new found friends, but confident in the direction I need to take my classes next fall. I am grateful for this opportunity. I have never, in all my life, been treated so kindly. You can bet I will quadruple my efforts to refine and enlarge my program.

  1. Yes, this is a great and much-needed experience. Being new to journalism, it has been eye-opening and thought-provoking time. We are privileged to be here among these stellar presenters and caring colleagues. I have much more direction for next year. Thank you ASNE!

  2. Our name in lights! Thanks for this post; I was hoping someone would take a great picture of this. I have been blown away more and more each day at the absolute thoroughness as well as small details by the institute and ASNE. What an experience.
