Video Power!

I am a star!
Thanks to Sam and some quick thinking I made my first performance on video at the ASNE Reynolds High School Journalism Institute a success. Seriously, near the end of a very fast paced day of training we learned a lot. First, we learned to shoot with video cameras, thanks to the excellent instructions given by Brian Snyder, Production Specialist with The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Second, it was on to the cutting floor with Serena Carpenter, Assistant Professor, teaching hands on editing video techniques.
Oh what a day! I hope to share all that I have learned with my students and colleagues at my school soon.

  1. Hey Clarence,

I agree; it was a busy day, but we did learn a lot. Even though it wasn't my first appearance "on the big screen," so to speak, it was my first time trying a hand at real broadcast journalism.
