Thank you

I just want to say thank you to all of the people involved in making this wonderful program happen. So far, it has been such a wonderful experience and we are learning so much and it has only been a few days.

I want to say thank you to Anita Luera for the hard work she has done to get us here and keep us happy. She has put us in the amazing Sheraton Hotel in downtown Phoenix.

The hotel is just blocks away from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication which I can see out of my hotel window. I could see myself as a young college student studying journalism and will be recommending the school to my student who want to become journalists. I also love the modern design of the school.

We are getting fed very well while we are here. We get three meals a day plus snacks and drinks. I don't think I eat this well at home. Here are some of the Institute participants enjoying a wonderful meal.

I am so happy to have the opportunity to be here and to learn things that I can take home to my students to teach them to be better journalists. Also, thank you Steve Elliott for helping me to post pictures on the blog when the computer was being difficult. (Even though it is still giving me problems.) :) I am so excited for the activities and lessons we have planned for the rest of the week.
